How long did that take to paint?

For example, this painting below took me 42 hours.

Why do you paint Valletta so much?

I'll never tire of painting Valletta, simply put, it's a stunning city and I love it.

Sunlight myths and caring for your investment.

Simply put oil paintings love light, watercolours, prints and acrylics do not. Oil paintings benefit from sunlight, they can become darkened by being kept in the dark, look at all those dark images in dimly lit museums. Basically I have found nothing that will last as long as an oil painting. They are tough and have centuries of development behind them. For longevity, (and I believe, the finish) oil paintings are the best in the world. To care for them just keep them clean with a lint free cloth or brush.

What does LeMakoo mean?

LeMakoo is a nickname. Created for me by a South African friend whilst I was living in the Isle of Man. Thanks LeDonJuan.
